Born and raised in Loudoun County, Virginia, I have always gravitated towards the creative mediums since I was young. I was given a Macintosh computer (the old grey brick ones) preloaded with Adobe from my brother when I left for college in North Carolina. I would spend time tooling around with it and making projects in Photoshop. When I moved back to VA to continue school, I started managing local bands. With basically no budgets, I taught myself the tools needed, to create logos, posters, album covers, and press kits, to get the bands gigs and established. Taking many of them from a hobby to paid gigs, one in particular that had local, regional and some national success.

During this time I upgraded to a new iMac computer loaded with the first version of iMovie and purchased a digital Hi8 camcorder and started recording the bands on the road and editing music videos. Always having a passion for film as well, I took this to the next level and moved to Los Angeles to attend film school. I completed my first short film shortly after combining my graphics skills to package it for several festivals. I would spend the next 4 years living in LA working on movie projects and continuing my graphic design work, until ultimately deciding to move back to Virginia to get married and start a family.

Having lived in Stone Ridge, VA for almost 18 years and raising two sons, Ive continued to work in the branding and graphics world, both full time, part time and free lance. Combining that with project management and operations works in several industries, I’ve always been able to incorporate my creative skills into my work.
