In the Outer Banks with my family (minus our latest addition Liam) 2011

Born and raised in a bustling suburb of D.C., Tony's creative side emerged at an early age, beginning with an interest in art and a love for all things entertainment. The family's movie collection was well over 500 films and a radio was always playing music throughout the home.

In high school, he created posters for local bands and helped them promote shows, which eventually led to a management role and a large involvement in the D.C. rock scene. While touring the college circuit with one of the bands, Tony picked up a camera and began recording and editing videos of the performances. Having always had a love for movies, this was the first time he gave serious thought to actually making them.

After attending several classes in film at the Corcoran College of Art and Design in D.C., Tony decided to head west. After graduating the Director’s Program at the New York Film Academy (Universal Studios) he went on to write, produce, and direct the short film "Mulberry Park," starring professional skaterboarder and BMX stars, Mike Vallely and Rick Thorne. He would go on to help produce several shorts and crew on larger productions.

Returning to Virginia in 2006, Tony would work as a project superintendent for a major construction company, overseeing crews of 30 to 40, building out large commercial spaces on budget and in record time. Missing the creative outlet, Tony left that world behind and took a job with an Alaska Native corporation dealing in government contracting. As a graphic designer and multimedia specialist, he co-produced and directed a full length documentary for the company's cultural preservation program about the history of their native village.

Tony most recently finished co-directing the found footage style feature film "Stone Markers" in Los Angeles this past March.  It premiered in LA in July and is currently being shopped for foreign and domestic distribution.  To see the official trailer and more about Tony and the project you can visit stonemarkersmovie.com  which Tony also did the graphics for.
